Manually Blurred Images on Google Streetview
As Doxy Spotters, we spend a lot of time on Google Streetview. Google has a habit of removing the hottest images from Google Street View. Like for example this nude stripper girl in Rio de Janeiro’s Vila Mimosa redlight district.
Not always are the full images removed, though. I found proof that Google sometimes is blurring only parts of the images. Below you see such an image of a very angry looking woman in Grahamstown, South Africa. The version of the image on the right is the current street view of this location.
A Google employee must have either manually blurred the face of this woman or Google must have run their facial recognition a second time on the image.
