Interview with Admin

1) How did you get to spot prostitutes on Google Street View?

Admin: I was looking to kill some time. For some time, I tried to explore exotic places on StreetView and to take a “mini vacation” that way. That got a little boring after a couple of days. So I was looking to spot something new – the seediest thing you could find on Google Street View. I found it in the Zona Industrial de Villaverde. This industrial complex is filled with dozens of prostitutes. First, I did not record my spottings. But it became apparent that Google Street View was full of prostitutes – more than I ever expected! Somebody had to discover them! Being a Zend certified PHP expert, I quickly created a website to record and share my findings. I now assume the position of an editor of the website. Besides spotting new prostitutes myself, I check all submissions and upload them to the website. With the help of Klaas, we have spotted about 1000 (one thousand) prostitutes on Google Street View!

2) Do you remember your first spotting? What was it?

Admin: Like Klaas, I don’t really remember my first spotting. Unlike him, I am pretty sure it was an exiting find, though. Why else would I have continued to spot? :)

3) What countries/cities are you mainly interested in and why?

Admin: I have a preference for Spain. Most of the prostitutes I’ve spotted in Spain look hot. And Madrid is such a raunchy city (in the industrial zones, but also the city center). My favorite route is the N-II in Catalonia between Figueres and Barcelona. Parts of this road are packed with good-looking girls. I actually wanted to fly there this summer, but I had to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances.

4) What’s your favorite spotting?

Admin: One of my most precious spottings is actually one that I lost and could not find again. Klaas, who has a huge collection of Streetview prostitute spottings, helped me find it again. It’s a amazingly hot looking busty hooker in Madrid‘s Zona Industrial de Villaverde.

I also like the Italian broad that advertised her services with her boobs out while sitting next to her van (and the construction workers nearby certainly did not mind the view).

5) Do you have any tips for people who are just starting out to spot hookers on Google Street View?

Admin: Obviously, you have to do some internet research as a doxy spotter. Forums like youppie are an excellent resource.

There often is no prostitution (in daylight) in populated areas that have houses or skyscrapers. In a bigger city, it’s best to be on the lookout for industrial complexes. Try to find roads that are on the outskirts and that are a little off.

In Spain, you can find hookers on pretty much any road that is not an express highway. You’ll not find anything along the express highways. There are just too many lanes and cars are driving too fast. Prostitutes need it a little shady (so woods are best) and the cars need to drive slower. The best conditions are on parallel roads to the big highways. On many highways you need to pay on toll booths. For this reason, many truck drivers take the slower country roads that often go parallel to the highways. Those roads are good targets for spotting. Also pay attention to country roads that connect bigger cities.

In my experience, you cannot make any good spottings on Streetview near train stations. An interesting thing to know is that prostitution in France is much more private than in Spain, for example. A lot of prostitution is going on in so-called “BMC” (bordel militaire de campagne) vans along the road. I’ve found a couple of such vehicles on StreetView and it was an eye-opener. It’s actually not too difficult to find them. The BMC vans are often white and have enough space in the back for having sex.
